Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 3 Pg 15

Reading all those books were torture...Until I started the last one. It told me what I could do as the descedent of The Azerathian leader. There were many great things.I could levitate things, I could shape Shift into a shadow, And I could Throw tiny lilac spears out of the knuckles of my hand. Then someone knocked on my door. I ran over and looked through the peep hole. It was the master. I opened the door and let him walk in. "Hello Ejea. I trust you read most of the books?" He asked me. "Yes." I said. "Yes what?" He asked again. I sighed "Yes, Master." I said Unwillingly. "Better. I will check on your sister and your friends. You should put your Books and amulet away and get to bed. Physical training starts tomorrow. I sighed once again. "Physical training?!" I asked myself once he left. I flipped the magic face talking thing book to the J's. There was Jaspers name. "Call" I said.
        "Hey Ejea!" He said.
"Hey Jasper!"
"Why'd you 'Call'?"
"I wanted to ask about Physical training."
"Uh huh. What about it?"
"WHY DO WE HAVE IT?!"
"Haha, Ejea. Everyone has it. It's to control our emotions."
"Is there a way of getting Out of it?"
"Unless you want to be trapped in an ice chamber all day, no."
"Grah..."
"It's not that bad. I'll be in your class."
"Oh yeah that's a plus." I said Sarcastically and I slammed the book shut. I opened the amulet box and Put my amulet in it. The coo coo Clock shot out an azberry. Being hungry I ate it. Then I Layed in my bed and slowly Drifted to sleep.

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 3 pg 14

"Good morning Ari-" I said as I woke up. I stopped myself before finishing when I looked in the room. The room had dark purple walls a round purple bed with over 10 pillows on it. Purple bed sheet with a picture of my amulet on it, a wooden desk in the corner, and a window at the edge of my room. I looked over at a Bowl on the desk. I got up and out of bed and sat down. I looked in the bowl and ofcourse. Azberries. I think this is their only food. But oh well... I ate my food and as soon as I finished someone knocked on my door. I walked over to it and looked through a peep hole. It was Ariel. I opened the door and rushed to give her a hug. "I can't find Carly,Nicole OR Janet!" She yelled. "Girls...Girls..." Said a now familiar voice. "They got up early and they came and ate breakfast with me. Ariel and I sighed in relief. He gestured for us to follow him. So we of course did. "Today you girls start training..." He said. "I have given each of you a desk in your room." He added. "When you return back their will be a box for your amulet. It is dangerous to wear it all the time and 3 textbooks. Take your time...But now you have homework." He finished. "Homework?!" We all yelled. We sighed and he walked away. Knowing what we had to do we followed. We said our goodbyes and then walked into our rooms.  My mouth dropped. Their sitting on my chair were three textbook about the size of my head. And on top the tiniest box for my amulet. Someone then knocked on my door. "Come in." I said. I grabbed the first book and Dropped it on the floor.  After that a boy about my age came in. "Hello Ejea." He said. I looked around the room to see who he was talking to. Then I realized. Oh yeah... Me. "Oh...Uh...Hi! Sorry I'm not used to my name yet.." I said. He laughed. "The master sent me to see if you were alright. Also to bring you this book..." He announced. I moaned. "What?" He asked. "Reading..." I said
"Haha... Well you will be doing A LOT of reading in Azerath. So prepare."
"Thanks..."
"Anyways this book...Everyone has a match to it. I have the same one."
"Ok and?"
"Its like what mortals call a phone."
"No numbers though..."
"No...But there are 26 catagories. One for every letter of the alphabet."
"Ok?"
"Flip to J's."
"Ok?" I said as I took the book and flipped to the pages. "Who's name is that?" I asked as I read the name Jasper Gravph. "Mine." I raised an eyebrow. "When you open it to someones page and say 'Call' Their book opens and its like talking face to face." He explained. "Oh...Well thanks..." I said. He bowed to me and left. "Well that was odd. Suddenly my book flipped open. It was Ariel. "Hey Ejea!" She said. I sighed and Shut the book. My torture of reading was to begin...NOW.

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 3 Pg 13

Just then the giant purple doors swung open. Two young women looked at the master then us. "Hello, master Azer." Said One of them. "Hello." He said. The other lady who did not speak took his jacket and stick and hung them on the wall. "Who are they?" Asked the none talking lady. "These are..." He leaned over to the girls and whispered something in their ears. Their eyes Popped open.  They reached to each of us and took our sweaters and hung them on the wall too. They both went to each side of the wall gesturing for us to go through. The master was first he led us the way. We finally approached out destination.  There in the room made completely of gold sat a table and six chairs. "Girls take a seat." He said. I sat at the head of the table. Ariel sat on my right side, Janet on my left. They looked worried. Minutes later the two girls were back with a large bowl. They set smaller bowls in front of us and scooped a spoonful of food into our bowls. "What the heck are these?!" Asked Nicole. "They are Azberries. They are good try them." Said the master. We looked at our bowls. "Oh don't be such babies! This looks good!" Said Ariel. The lady gave her a spoon. Ariel put the spoon in her bowl. She took it out with only one berry on it. Then she finally stuck it in her mouth. "Delicious!" She said. She continued to dig in. So I asked the lady for a fork. I tasted them. They weren't half bad! "I'm glad you liked them. Let me show you too your rooms." He said. "Rooms?" Janet Asked. "We need to get back home!" She exclaimed. "I'm afraid you can't." He said. He got out of his seat and walked us through about a billion hallways. Finally we came across a hallway. I read one of the plaques on the wall. "Who is Ejea?" I asked. He looked at me. Then he realized what I asked. "Why, that's you of course!" He exclaimed. "No I'm Shaeleigh. " I said. "As soon as you stepped foot in here you became Ejea." He said. "Who am I?!" Asked Janet. "Why you. You have a lovely name. Your name is Ursala." He said. " Ariel, you are Azula, Carly you are Katara, and Nicole you are Toph (Tof)." He said. "You don't need to call eachother by those names. But when you adress yourself to others it is mandatory." He added. "Walk into the rooms with your names on them and go to sleep. Lamps should be off by the time the wall clock shoots out an azeberry" He ordered. We all walked into our rooms. I layed on my bed and slowly drifted to sleep.

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 2 pg 12

There in a cavern made of crystals, sat a man with scrawny arms and a wrinkled face. "Who dares to disturb me?!" He yelled. "Get them!" We ran to the tall doors. When we finally approached them they slammed shut. Then Figures made of ice approached us. They grabbed our arms and dragged us to 5 chairs. "Please let us explain how we got here before you do anything rash!" I yelled. His eyes opened wide. T-that voice. T-those eyes. Your language and tone" He stuttered. "Shaeleigh?" He asked. I froze. " How on earth- well wherever we are, did you know that!?" I asked. "Your Great Gramma." He said. "She came here too. She had your eyes. She had a soft but demanding voice, and in a harsh situation she would show no fear." He explained. "Then those must be Ariel, Janet, Nicole, and Carly. As your modern names should be." He said. "I looked at him. With an eyebrow raised. "That is correct." I said. "Release them!" He ordered. The Ice men grabbed us again and the chairs we sat in disappeared. Then they put us down. "Please. Girls. Forgive me and my rational behaviour." He begged. "You did not harm us, so I suppose we will forgive you." I answered, liking the thought that he was bowing down to us. "Let me show this to you." He said. He waved a stick towards the door we entered through. "Azerath." He said. The door started glowing. Two Ice men walked to the door and opened it. There inside the door was a village. But the houses weren't made of wood or stone. They were made of ice and rock. "This, is Azerath." He said. "Janet. You have the earth Amulet. What a lovely power. You control the earth. As in stone and grass, and the growing of nature." He announced. "That explains a lot." Muttered Carly. I nudged her with my elbow. She realized and looked down lipping the word "sorry". He looked at Ariel and then me. "Oh no no no." He said. "The ice men came out from no where. He took our necklaces off and switched them. "Ariel is supposed to have fire." He said. "Oh look! Nicole! You! You have Ice. Isnt that a treat!" He said a smile on his face. "And you Carly! Air!" He added. He had gotten to all of them. I thought there was no element for me. "Shaeleigh, Destined for this you were. In fact you all were. You are the holder of the great Azerathian power." I looked at him confused. He waved his stick and stepped to the side, informing us to go infront of him.  We walked for a while then came across a building. It was made of five buildings. One was red. One was Blue. One was made of crystals, and the other green. Then the building in the center. Lilac. The color of my amulet. "Azerath School." He said. "School? But there is nobody here." Said Ariel. "Oh really?" He said, a large grin on his face. He pointed his stick toward the huts. Over 100 people stepped foot on the narrow path. I realized then that we weren't trapped here. We were meant to be here.

Living in your worst nightmare chapter 2 pg 11

After eating breakfast we went up to the attic. We brought blankets and pillows with us. We made a tent so that no dust would fall and land on us when we went to sleep. I took out my amulet and put it on. As did the rest of us. We were having a thunderstorm. So yay for us. We could here the tapping of the lightly falling raindrops on the roof. "Hey guys listen to this..." I said. I read the newspaper I was reading aloud. It said:
                                                       1821 May 17
Charleston Brooks has mysteriously disappeared. After searching the entire city we have sent out a group of searchers in every state to look for him. We found no evidence or trails of where he could be. Then when we took a second look in his house there he layed on his couch, dead. No cuts or scars. They took an autopsy. No trace of poisoning. We will be doing further research.

I looked at the others in shock. "He has our last name." Said Ariel. "He was found dead on our birthday." I added. Just then a strike of thunder hit. "Girls! Look! The amulets!" Yelled Janet. We all looked down at the amulets. They were glowing. But they were glowing the color they were and the color let of a streak. The streaks all aligned and went to the top of the ceiling. But what happened next was what surprised us... The ceiling opened. But not to the pouring rain. To an even darker realm. Where there was no blue at all in the sky. Not a star or a moon was in sight. All that was there was dark clouds. Then a ladder dropped out of the portal, and being the curious girls that we were we climbed up it. "What is this-" I said but I got cut off when I saw the portal we had taken to here had disappeared. "No!" We all yelled and banged on the ground. "How do we get out of here!?" Asked Nicole who was in tears. "I-I don't know. But don't worry. We will be OK. I promise." I said. I continued to walk north. I smiled. "Guys look! A castle!" I yelled and started running to the giant palace that lay ahead of me. "Halt!" Said a man who stepped in front of us. "Who are you?" He said. He was in armor like a knight. "U-um... I-I'm Shaeleigh Brooks." I said. "I couldn't see his face but I knew he was surprised by the way he stiffened up. "And who are they?" He asked. Leaning toward my friends and sister. "Well the one in the middle is my sister Ariel Brooks and the one on the very left is Janet. Next to her, Nicole, and the one on the right, that's Carly." I said, gaining confidence. "Very well. What brought you here?" Asked the man. "Our amulets." I said. We all un-tucked the amulets from out of under our shirts. He once again stiffened. "You may pass. With these instructions. You go straight. Until you arrive to the golden doors. Walk through the doors and approach the master. Do nothing else or face the punishment." He said Letting us pass. We did nothing but listen to him. We walked straight until we arrived at the fifty feet tall golden doors. Two Knights stepped infront of us and opened the doors. There. Sitting on a throne was the master. Who we would meet. I hope all goes well.

Living in your worst nightmare chapter 2 pg 10

"Ewwww." Said Ariel. "What?" I asked. I walked over to where she stood to find a pile of small animal bones. "Ah!" I let out a shreik. I Pushed the bones back with my foot and covered them with a cloth. There were tons of boxes around here. There were twelve. We split them into groups of four and we each explored them. We found old newspapers, old clothes with rips and stains in them, and a lot of books on magic and witchcraft. Then we went downstairs. At the perfect time too. Our parents just arrived home when we closed the attic door. We all put the bags in our room. Then we went outside and helped my parents put the groceries away. "Hey girls." Said my dad. "How would you feel about having Nicole and Carly over?" He asked. "But I thought you and mom were going out to Seattle for the week." I said. "Yes. So we figured that you could throw a whole week slumber party!" Said my mom. Ariel, Janet, and I exchanged looks at eachother. "Yes!" We all said at the same time. Then we sat down at the table and ate. The doorbell rang while we were eating. Ariel,Janet, and I ran to the door. "Eeeek!" Yelled Nicole and Carly. The rest of the night we talked about what happend. We showed Nicole and Carly the pictures, and they saw what happend! Finally it was time for bed. Which meant mom and dad would leave tomorrow and we would have the whole house to ourselves! Finally it was morning. Mom and dad left a note on our bed saying:

                                           Dear girls,
Our flight got moved to an earlier time. We had to leave early. We made breakfast. It is on the table. Have fun and don't get into trouble.
                                        Love you,
                                                Mom and Dad
We walked downstairs and ate breakfast. Then we got bags and I prepared two more. Then we opened the attic door and walked up. "That is where we found the amule-" I said pointing to the couch. I was surprised so I stopped talking. There in front of us were two more amulets. The one on the left was a blue gem with gold chain. The one on the right was a pure white crystal with a gold chain. Nicole took the blue one and Carly took the crystal one. We all had our own Amulet. What did it mean?

living in your worst nightmare Chapter two pg 9

I didn't get to take a glimpse at what Janet said was gorgeous. But I'm sure it was if it was coming out of her mouth. We all went to sleep and for the first time I had a non-creepy dream! I had a dream about knocking out a bunch of black belts. Okay I have to admit. That is a little weird. Then what made me get out of bed was that it was saturday and my parents were gone. Now we aren't like ordinary kids. We won't throw parties or sneak out. We will explore. We will stay inside and the only rules we are breaking are your "Own-personal-bubble" rules. Sometimes we explore my parents room. Sometimes we explore our own rooms. The kitchen. The basement, and so on. But this time we are taking a risk never taken before. We are exploring the attic! I for one am excited. I've never done anything like this. But something is going on and I will get to the bottom of it. "Alright ready?" Ariel said through the walkie-talkie. "Almost. Your parents haven't left the drive. Plus after they leave I'll wait a few minutes on watch to make sure they don't come back." Said Janet. "Alright." Said Ariel back. I got a bag for each of us to collect stuff. It was also full of food. Cause when my parents go shopping they go shopping if you know what I mean. So we would be in the attic for a while. I also put in a notebook to record stuff we saw. I wasn't going unprepared. "Alright. Your parents have gone and I don't think they're coming back." Said Janet.
"Perfect," I said."Let the games begin." I said adding a small smirk.
"Alright you got the bag?"
"Check."
"Food"
"Check."
"Notebook?"
"Check."
"Alright I think we're good!"
I grabbed the three bags and ran to the attic steps. Ariel and Janet got there before me. We walked up and set our bags on the ground. "Janet," I said. "What did you find last night that you said was 'Gorgeous'?" She looked at me. Pausing to think, then apparently remembered. She walked over to the couch with the hole in it. Lying like they were placed there, were three amulets. The first was a green emerald one. It had a gold chain around it. Janet took it and placed in her bag. The next was a Red ruby amulet. Also with gold chain. I took that one and put it in my bag. Then the third one. It had a lilac gem of some-sort. Ariel took that one and put it in her bag. We continued to explore. None of us saying one word. The amulets were placed there. It was no mistake. I knew something was wrong.

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 8

"Oh no..." I said as calmly as possible. "What's 'oh no'?" Asked Ariel. "The dirt," I said. "It's not getting solid! I can't pack it!" I started to hyperventilate. But I calmed down. Hearing Ariel and Janets' voice calmed me."How do we get out?" Asked Ariel. "I do not know! All I know is that this is all my fault!" Yelled Janet. Then I spotted something. Pieces of earth just jetting out! "Guys! Look!" I yelled. I pointed toward the rocks. I ran over. I started to climb. These rocks were surprisingly stable. I finally got up and saw that Janet was right behind me, and after her was Ariel. "Girls?!" Yelled my mom. "We've been looking all over for you! We almost called the cops!" She yelled. "Get inside now. It's about to rain." Said my dad. We all ran inside. We played a couple board games in my room and then it was dinner. "This is delicious Mrs and Mr. Brooks." Said Janet. That was the only thing about her. She was too formal. But she was polite, talented, and fun. I hated when it rained. We could never play outside. I was laying in my bed. Janet was down on the ground, she was spooked by what happend earlier and she wanted to stay in the room with us. All of a sudden I heard a loud crashing sound. "Did you guys hear that?" I asked. "Yes." Answered Janet. "Yeah." Answered Ariel. I climbed down the ladder of the bunk bed and turned on the light. Everything was in place. Except for Janet being on the floor. But other then that everything was in place. I turned off the lights and grabbed my small keychain which had an LED light on it. I walked down the hallway and took a peek in my parents room. They were alright. Then the bathroom. Nothing was wrong. The kitchen. Just the burning smell of the stove being automatically cleaned. Then It was time. The attic. "Shae. We aren't supposed to go up there!" Whispered Ariel as quite as possible. "I know that, but I heard something and I've looked everywhere but here!" I said. I walked into the attic. "Woah...." Said Ariel and Janet. I continued to explore. "Shaeleigh. Was this couch always ripped?" Asked Janet. I ran to see what she was talking about. She went to sit down and apparently fell through. "Um. No." I said. I helped her up and found the attic light switch. I looked in the couch. There was a massive hole. But it wasn't just a hole. There was something in it. "Woah those are gorgeus!" Said Janet. "We should come back tomorrow. When mom and dad are out shopping." Said Ariel. "Good idea." I said. I turned off the attic light and tiptoed downstairs.

living in your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 7

Ariel and I decided to forget about it. We showed mom and dad it and they saw it! But they took their sleeves and washed dust off. They said it was probably animals in the roof pounding dust down. So Ariel and I figured we would believe that and not be paranoid the rest of our lives. Janet, the exchange student, and I really got to know eachother. She said that she really likes America. She plays the piano we got her nonstop. She eats all we give her. Shes always outside in the woods. She calls her friends from home and they chat away in french so I Obviously can't evesdrop. But she is doing great in school. The teachers have a real liking to her. I wish I was that liked. But ever since the dream I haven't talked to any of the teachers. But I answer questions. My parents insisted about me being crazy when I told them about the dream and the pictures. "Hey guys! Come check out what I made!" Yelled Janet from in the woods. Ariel and I exchanged concerned yet excited looks and ran to where she was. There in the ground was a fifty feet down hole! With a ladder up it. Janet climbed down the ladder and I was next. Then came Ariel. "So that's where my lava lamp went! I've been looking for it." Said Ariel. Just then a black figure raced past us. We all let out high pitched shreiks. "What was that!?" I asked. "I-I don't know!" Yelled Janet. "Lets get out of here!" Yelled Ariel. She ran toward the ladder but it broke. Then dirt started to fling over us. "We're going to be burried alive!" Shreiked Janet. "No! No we won't! Dirt is solid! So when the dirt rises we climb up. It will involve getting dirty but it will save our lives." I said. So there we waited. The dirt up to our knees. Preparing for the messiest day ever or the last day of our lives.

Living In your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 6

The doorbell rang. "I'll get it!" I yelled, running down the stairs. Well more like sliding. I fixed my hair when I got to the door, looked through the peep hole and opened it! I figured I'd be cultural and say this. "Bonjour!" I said. She smiled thankfully. "Bonjour!" She said in return. I smiled back. I took one of her bags and showed her into her room. "Thank you for being so welcoming." She said. She spoke english almost perfectly. She barely had a French accent. I left her to herself as she unpacked. Then she knocked on my bedroom door. "Come in!" I said. Not caring who it was. "Um...Shaeleigh-is it?" She asked. "Yeah, what's up?" I aksed. "You never showed me to your restroom." She pointed out to me. "Oh, my bad. Follow me." I Said as I walked out of the room and down the hall. Made a left turn and pointed the bathroom to her. Then I looked at a picture. It was me and Ariel when we were babies. But as I continued to stare I saw me disappear. I rubbed my eyes. I still wasn't there. "Mom dad!" I yelled. I ran and met them at the door. I made them follow me to the picture. "My picture! It-" I saw that I was there again. "It...reminds me of when I was a baby...I just wanted to show that to you." I said. My parents weren't mad. To my surprise they were happy. I ran back to my room. "Ariel I'm not crazy right?" I asked. "Depends. Give me a situation..." She said grinning. "I'm serious!" I said
"And I am too...I'm ready to tell you if you are crazy or not."
"Well I was in the hall looking at baby pic-"
"Yes your crazy."
"ARIEL! I'm serious about this! Listen...Please..."
"Ok...Fine...I'm listening."
"Well, When I was looking at the baby photos...my picture...Of me..disappeared."
"Well Let me take a look."
She got up and ran to the end of the hall. We looked at the pictures. This time both of our pictures disappeared. "Ok...your not crazy..." Ariel whispered in shock. "We should tell mom and dad." She suggested. "I already tried that. But when I came back the pictures reappeared!" I said. "What are we gonna do?!" Asked Ariel.

Living In your Worst nightmare Chapter 1 Pg 5

Being back in my fantasy life was great. But I have so many questions! Like, when did the dream start? Something wasn't right. My parents say that I fell of my bike, but I haven't rode my bike in forever. Or did I? Everything was normal again. It's just that previous day that has been spooking me. "Girls come down here!" Yelled my dad
 "Yeah Dad?" I asked.
"I want to announce something."
"Moms not pregnant,right!?"
"No,no."
"Then what is it?"
"A new girl is coming into your school."
"Okay and?"
"Well she's an exchange student."
"Okay?"
"So she needs to live with somebody..."
"I don't quite understand..."
"The foreign exchange student is coming to live with us this school year."
"Oh...OH..."
That means my dreams of having my own room were gone... Unless this new girl and Ariel want to share a room...Hmmmm....I'll work on that. Dad said she would be here within a day. So tomorrow or today late at night. Anyways the whole family is bringing all the stuff from the spare room into the garage. And we are taking the pull out couch in there pulling it out and making it a bed for her. We got her a dresser, she's using the old t.v., and we got her a small electric piano. Because that is her specialty. I for one couldn't wait to meet her! I heard she had ALL of my classes! Finally someone to sit with. Well wish us goodluck that we get along good.

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 4

He was standing right in front of me. Not looking at me or anything in particular. But looking. He took a step forward. I took a step back. I got into a fighting stance. "Stay away from me! I mean it!" I said. Trying to sound brave. He didn't say anything he just took a step forward. I did too. Then he looked at me. A slight grin on his face. "Choose your weapons!" Said a voice from above. All of a sudden out of no where three weapons appeared next to me. Two daggers, a bow staff, and a sword. I knew that the daggers or the sword could be more helpful, but I actually knew how to use a bow staff. I grabbed it. He grabbed the sword. I'm assuming to make it fair. He got into a fighting stance. Doing the most action I've seen from him all night. I gripped the bow staff like I'd been taught. "FIGHT!" Said the voice from above. He lunged at me with the sword ready to strike. I held the bow staff in the air. The sword hit it and the man went flying down. I grabbed the sword and placed it to his neck. " Shaeleigh?" Said my mom. I looked up. "Mom where are you?!" I asked. "Shaeleigh wake up! It's the first day of school. I sat upright in my bed. I got dizzy from moving to quickly but I was relieved to know that it was all a dream. I got out of the bunk bed and ran downstairs. Once again the sweet smelling aroma of bacon and eggs brightened my spirits. I'd dressed in the same thing I dressed in in my dream and did my hair the exact same way. I ran out side with my bag and got the same exact text. I sat in the same seat the same way and Nicole asked me the same questions. I met the same teachers. But the principal wasn't the same guy in my dream. The teachers were there to greet the students and take their pictures. It was just a bunch of mumbo jumbo in my dream. I liked reality so much better and I'm glad it took me back from fantasy.

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 3

Well that class was NO fun what so ever. But I had a good feeling about this class. The teacher had a nice face. She wore pink lipstick and just the tiniest bit of baby blue eye shadow.. She had the biggest eyes and a rather cute baby face. "Alright Class! I'm Mrs. Carly!" She said. Her voice was soft and sweet. She handed out cross words and word searches. She also made us fill out this all about me paper. Just when I was talking to the teacher about my paper the principal walked in. She jumped out of her seat and ran to him. They slowly whispered words to each other. Both of them eyeing me suspiciously. Finally the bell rang. I dropped the papers I held and ran into the bathroom. I splashed my face with cold water. "They weren't looking at me..." I spoke to myself. "They were looking at her desk. Yeah! That's what they were doing..." I said trying to calm myself. "Have you gone insane?" Asked Carly as she walked into the bathroom. No it's just. The teachers. When ever the principal's around they go all hypnotized. It's creepy." I said. Carly shrugged and went into a stall. I walked out and there was the principal. Glaring at me as usual. I walked into the cafeteria and sat down with Nicole and Ariel. "The teachers are so...weird." Said Ariel. "Especially when the new principal is around." I added. "So you see it too?!" Said Ariel. "I see it too... And they just glare at us like we did something wrong..."Said Nicole."Yeah.But Carly was in the bathroom with me and she said she didn't notice anything..."I said. Nicole and Ariel just shrugged. Then the bell rang. Which meant it was time for science. This teacher looked like your average everyday teacher. Not nice but not mean. If that makes any sense..After science school was over. I waited for my stop when I got on the bus, while Carly Ariel and Nicole chatted away. Me and Ariel got off at our stop and sat on the front porch and did our homework. Then we went inside and ate dinner. I explained to my parents about the principal and they said it was probably just something he told them. I went to sleep early tonight and to my surprise the principal was in my dream...

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 2

I moaned as light shone through my curtains and into my eyes. I woke up and got out of the bunk bed me and Ariel shared. As usual she was up before me.But I mean whats wrong with sleeping in? I went downstairs to smell the sweet aroma of bacon and eggs. I ran to the kitchen table and sat down in my chair and ate. Then I went upstairs. I took a quick shower, got dressed in a lilac sundress with flip-flops, and curled my hair. I don't usually dress up like this, but we are in sixth grade now. There's a chance we could get our pictures taken. So I just want to be safe.  I grabbed my bag and ran outside. It was warm. As it always was in Tampa,Florida. The bus wasn't here yet but my friend sent me a text saying it was around the block.Ariel was still inside. She was just coming out the door when the bus arrived. I sat down to my friend Nicole and Ariel sat down next to her friend Carly. "So Shaeleigh, are you excited?" Asked Nicole. "About?" I asked.
     "Sixth grade!"
"Oh... I guess..."
"I guess?!"
"Yeah I guess. No need to rephrase."
"Your just not a morning person"
"I am too!"
"Then prove it!"
I crossed my arms and looked out the windows the rest of the way. When we arrived I was surprised. There wasn't one teacher waiting outside of any of the buses to take our pictures. Instead they were surrounding the new principal, interviewing him and taking pictures, what a publicity hog. I walked to the classroom. I could already tell I was going to have a mean teacher. She was wrinkled and she had one of those "I'm going to punish you" Faces. "Take your seats..." She said. Her voice was low and harsh. "And get to it. We don't have all day!" The whole class moaned. Let the torture begin...

Living in your worst nightmare Chapter 1 pg 1

"Mom come on can we go home already?!" Asked Ariel. "Ariel calm down we just got here. You should have just stayed home with dad." I said.
"No way!" She said in return
"Why not?"
"He's cleaning the garage!"
"So?"
"So I hate to clean!"
"Then have fun cleaning your room this afternoon..." I Muttered
We strolled up and down isles in AC moor looking for school supplies. I admit it wasn't the best thing to do today but it was better then staying at home with my dad cleaning the garage. But I planned to do that when I got home. "Mom?" I asked. "Yeah honey?" She asked back. "Today's Tuesday right?" I asked "Yes.Why?" She asked. "Well I figured since i'm gonna help dad with the garage when we get back that we could finish earlier and he could take me to karate." I said. "Well I could have done that." She said. I nodded and ended the subject. I didn't like when she took me to karate. She was so embarrassing! Yelling that I'd doing a good job from the outside windows. I've heard six year olds yell softer then her! We finally got home and I started helping my dad with the garage. I moved a box off the shelf and let out a loud shriek. "Are you alright?!" Asked my dad. He walked over to me and saw a teddy bear sticking out of the box. He grinned and took the box and to show me it was gone he threw it in the burn barrel. I was afraid of teddy bears. But for a somewhat good reason. When I was three I still slept in my crib and I was tossing and turning in it and one of my teddy bears almost suffocated me! I remember it like it happened a minute- no a second ago! I remember being in the hospital, oxygen tubes attached to me, my mom crying my dad comforting her. I sighed and lipped the words thank you. I continued cleaning. We did finish early and my dad took me out we got Ice cream and then went to karate. By the time I got back I was ready to go to sleep...
